To The One I Love

By: Amelia Laureano

I don’t know yet the meaning of love

This question I always ask to the people I meet

But you came into my life

And teach me how to love and to be in love.

You court me and I give my “Yes” to you

My life is blue and full of happiness

But there was the time that I did not expect

You said me goodbye and its too hurt for me.

My life is miserable when you’re gone

And I always ask there’s something wrong?

What should I do to make you mine again?

But this question always flew by the wind.

I always pray that God help me to meet you again

And I don’t know when God will grant my prayers

But this is only I can say

Till the crossroads meet again
