MY FUTURE

By: Geraldine Joy Ladringan

As I put myself into this ordinary chair

I've let my mind fly with hand on my hair

My eyes stares at my book and pen

Oh... when could I use and grab them again?

As I think about my future

Crystal fall from my eyes

Thankful and hopeful is what I've felt

Like a candle that never melt

I've learn a lot from my mentors

They've shown me and teach me

Things that is to forget is not easy

SO now, I can say I'm strong and brave than before

I could be a successful lady

Just what my mentor's told me

This ordinary name that I had,

Someday would be great and make people glad.
